Loosing Hope~ Update Post 33~

I'm starting to loose any hope that I had about ovulating this cycle..

I know I have these dull aches and Pulls but I would have thought that I would have a positive OPK!!!

The research I did said you would ovulate 5-7 days after taking the last pill. Well here we are day 7 after I took the last pill and not even a surge.

I am trying to stay positive about this and think maybe I will ovulate this weekend, but today I am finding it hard to be upbeat about this. I feel alone. I feel like this is never going to happen for us, and that I am going through all these dr visits, bw, treatments and side effects for nothing.

How my heart hurts and aches because my arms are empty.

And then I feel bad, cause Im trying to be upbeat and strong for y'all, and encourage everyone, and I feel like Im not eveing doing that. I'm sorry... Im trying to get out of this funk...

Maybe the dose wasn't strong enough or you might need to try a different med to help you O. I mean, not everyone responds to Clomid, do they?

Don't worry about being strong for us, we all have those days where we feel like we can't keep the smile on our face. I know I have those days, where I think it's just not going to happen, but we keep trying new things, because we want it so badly. And always know that we are here for you, too!!!!

I hope you do ovulate today or over the weekend. Good luck and KUP!

I dont know.... I was just really hopeful about it... and now not even a faint line on an OPK.... What gives.... I feel broken.

You'll get your postivite opk - hang in there. Those follies are just getting nice and juicy first.

Also - when I did my clomid cycles, I was super emotional. I had more side effects emotional on Clomid then with stim shots in my belly. So hang in there... you will O and even though the emotions are real they are extra crazy cause of the extra hormones.

I have noticed that I am still having ALOT of side effects after taking the clomid... I thought they would end after taking it, but I SUPER emotional, and irritable (like AF irritable) and sick to my stomach.... i thought it was all in my head...

Aw Raina. I'm so sorry that your body is still not cooperating. Have you called your Dr. to ask if this is normal for some women, or if there is something else that you can do?

I've had such high hope for you this cycle. Like kayakr said maybe your follies are getting nice n juicy.

Don't give up hope. I took clomid last cycle cd 3-7 n didn't get a + til late cd 14 like at 11 pm. I started testing cd 8 n was getting discouraged. My opk wasn't actually 100% + it was 95% n I got my spike in temp the next morning n a - the next day on a opk line barely there. U still have time just keep testing u will get there.

They are doing more blood work on 02/17 to see if the 50mg of Clomid helped me ovulate... then if not i have to induce another cycle, and go on a higher dose of Clomid. I was just so hopeful for this cycle... i thought surely the clomid would work.. but now I just feel more broken than ever... I seriously have been crying off and on all morning at work....

Did your OPKs gradually get darker each day or was the line barely even visible and then BAM there you had a 95% positive OPK???? Cause I barely can see a line on the OPK

Sorry you're feeling so down Raina, you'll have your day. If anyone deserves soon its you, your poor body has been through a lot..its about time those little eggies broke free! I think we've all had our downer days...heck I wanted to crawl in a hole after a BFN at 8DPO (this girl's coocoo)...psch like I thought I was going to get a BFP on 8DPO.

I am so sorry you are going through this!!! I agree that maybe you need a stronger dose of Clomid and I am praying you will ovulate soon!!!

I'm so sorry that you're feeling down. Don't worry about us. You're a great host, but you need to keep yourself and your TTC journey as priority.

I hope that what happened for Sonica happens to you and you get a BAM +OPK! I know many women never get progression lines.

Don't give up hope

. I am sure you will O in the next day or so like Sonica said. If not, you might want to call your doctor and talk about the Clomid dosage. The crazy hormones are to be expected also- I don't have first hand experience but I have 2 friends that took Clomid and found it made them super emotional. And please please don't worry about being strong for us- we are all here to support each other- every one of us has had our time being down.

Thanks ladies... that means alot to me..... if i dont ovulate this weekend... then I will prob call the doctor to let them know so we can talk about a stronger dosage

Raina, Raina....tell negative Nancy to start steppin! You are feeling cramps/sensations in your Ovaries- that is a great sign!!! Don't give up hope yet, it will happen and you will O. I think something is still brewing in those ovaries!! Marla was getting negatives yesterday morning and then BAM she had a positive in the evening! Also there have been several girls on here talking about how they have a 2nd line then it gets lighter and lighter before BAM it is dark and positive.

P.S. You are allowed to have a down day every now and then!
