[SLP83]

So I tested with an IC this morning at 10 DPO with FMU, and got what I thought was a BFN. But, like all POAS-a-holics, I of course went back 30 minutes later and looked at the test again. I saw a FAINT shadow of something, immediately brought it to DH for him to look at, and he saw it, too.
Of course, it was outside the time limit, so I set the test down and went off to work, trying to not think about it much...HA, of course I focused on NOTHING ELSE today

So I decided to test again when I got home with another IC (didn't want to waste my FRERs), walked away, and came back 5 minutes later to a very faint, yet darker than this morning, second line

I'm only 10 DPO and I've never been pregnant before, so I'm trying SO HARD to not get over-excited. Of course that isn't working, and I'm dancing all around the empty house just waiting for DH to hurry up and get home!

It sounds a lot like how I got my first BFP! I looked at the test after the time limit (prob about 30 min) and saw a shadow. Tested again later in the day, and it was darker and came up within the time limit, just like you!

Thanks everyone! I'm actually surprised at how CALM I am, I have always been sure I would start sobbing happy tears when I finally got to see a second line

I think the logical part of me is trying to keep the emotional part in-check for now (the logical side is so boring!), knowing that so many pregnancies, especially 1st pregnancies, end in m/c.

I'm still so unbelievably happy, though, because no matter what happens I at least now know that DH and I have the ability to conceive, something I was terrified we wouldn't be able to do.

Go drink that water, girls! Brandy, I drink straight tap water, so if it is here in StL you'll get plenty of it, too!
