If I have positive opks and I'm having my period every month does that mean I'm def ovulating I'm really worried I'm not cause we've been trying 7 months and my doctor won't do any tests till we've been trying for a year just worried all the bding is for nothing

Only charting your temps with show if you are ovulating or not, the opks only detect a surge meaning it shows your body is gearing up to ovulate, but there is no proof rather your body went through with ovulation or not. With charting you will see the thermal shift that will show you on what day the egg was released. I know it is frustrating, chances are you are ovulating and it's just taking some time. Thanks might have to start temping I don't use any at the moment to be honest cause I got pregnant with my DD really quickly thght this time would be the same how wring was I also I live in the uk so the doctors wont even look at me until we've been trying a year

The ladis said it all. Temping and charting is the only way to confirm.....Hope you dont have to try much longer

Thanks guys hopefully we won't have to try much longer I had a chemical a few months ago so that was upsetting will maybe give it another month then start temping at least so if the bfp's recently have given me more hope just wish my body would cooperate x
