I would love to have a big family. I am not sure I have a set number that I want. I think I would be happy with 6
Mind you I already have 4 so 6 doesn't seem too many to me.
How many do you want?

Three...but it's more complicated than that.
4 has always been my number. DH's number has always been 2. So three is a compromise for us.

Haha - i hope this wasn't because of my post!! Let me give some background on my reasoning of why i'd be happy with one. When i was young and married the first time i wanted 2-3 kids. ExDH was on the same page. Then after 12 years of being together he changed and decided he no longer wanted children. Well, obviously none of that worked out (definitely for the best, trust me!!!) and then i eventually met the worlds most amazing man who i'm married to today. Now, given our ages and finances (i used to work corporate making decent money, but now i do a job that i'm happy in but in the non profit sector) i don't know that 2-3 kids is ideal any more! I mean, if it happens it happens - DH would love to have 2. So we'll see. For now, it's one.

I would like 4 but DH says 3. So I think depending on what we end up with boys/girls wise will probably also have a say on if I can get him to go for a 4th. Or I guess I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed for twins the third time around!

I already have a girl so if my next child is a boy I'm done. If it's a girl I'll try one more time but 3 is the limit.

I'd love 4, but DH only wants 2. I'll fight to get my way though.

We have 3. I'd like 5, 6, or 7. No more than 7.

I just want to have one for now since we don't have any children yet. I've always secretly wanted twins for some reason, even though they don't run in our families. I would be happy with 2, 4 at most.

2 or 3. If we have a boy and a girl, then we'll probably stop at 2. If not, we'll probably go for 3. This is all conjecture, of course, with me assuming that we won't have 1 and decide that is plenty.

Lol...well, somewhere between 8-12 would probably be our stopping point...Irish Catholics' in the house . My mam had 16 and my Granny had 18, so I'm really lowering my standards over here!

I always wanted a large family at least 8 children; however, I still hope for 4, but due to DH's age and both of our fertility issues, it doesn't seem likely that we will have more than 2.
