I was just wondering what the chances were testing at 8 dpo and it showing up + if you were pregnant? I want to test as soon as I can but I want it to be worth it to test and not waste money.

For me, the chance would be slim to none. Has that stopped me before? Heck no! Once I POAS at 5dpo! Lol. If you don't mind seeing the - go for it. I try to wait till at least 10dpo. Good luck!! ~*~babydust~*~

I have tested my little butt off at 5 DPO. Are we successful? Of course not. =) 8 DPO BFP's DO HAPPEN, HOWEVER They are less likely, less common, and much less squinty, "Hey, girls, look at this, can you adjust? It's not showing up on my camera." than say 10 or 11 DPO. Some ladies don't even show up BFP until 12DPO and so on. If money is an issue, go grab a dollar store test, but NOT an 88 cent test from Walmart, those things are junk. The Dollar Store / Tree / Family Dollar / Dollar General test typically are very sensitive and are...drumrollll.... a dollar. =) Sorry for my lengthy post. I am feeling wordy this morning. Good luck testing and please KIP!

I agree with the ladies above, I would wait until at least 10dpo, but many ladies have tested positive on 9dpo and sometimes 8dpo. Are you temping? If so, I would wait until at least 10 dpo 2 days after a dip in your temps. Good luck and KUP!

There is a really good website out there with percentages (including percentages of women that get pregnant within a certain amount of time), but I couldn't find it. However, I did find this one, and it seems about in line with that one.
