I went off the birth control pill Breillyn back in January and I've been taking Fertility Blend by Daily Wellness from GNC for 1 1/2 month now, I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it or not, but certain times a month for 4-6 days in a row off and on I will wake up or go to the bathroom and I will have white milky discharge come out heavily, almost like I was on my period but - the blood. It has no smell and it does not itch so I do not think its an infection or anything like that. When it happens I do have some EWCM and its stretchy so I believe that is the fertile mucus everyone talks about but I keep getting negatives on OPKs. Anyone know what could be going on? Should I consult in my OBGYN?
I think "normal" when it comes to CM is a very loose term. Each woman is a little different in what she experiences. I am one of those women that has TONS of CM. It doesn't matter if it's EWCM or creamy or watery, there is always a lot of it. I know some gals are just the opposite.
I think as long as it doesn't have a foul smell and/or is not greenish in color, you're probably okay. This might just be the norm as your body readjusts to being off BC.
Also, I learned this month that you can have EWCM more than once in your cycle. I had EWCM three separate times this month and only one of them was around the time of O.
If you're really concerned, though, give your doc a call. It never hurts to double check if it's causing lots of stress. GL!
Sounds very much like you have tons of EWCM. That's awesome!
When are you using the OPKs? I used them for the very first time last cycle and got all bfns because I was testing at the wrong time of day (and my temps went wonky for awhile and I O'd later ... it was very confusing lol). I was testing before noon and later I found out you're supposed to test around 2. You may also have a shorter surge. Some women have to test twice a day to be able to catch it. From what I've read, usually they test around noon and then again around 8 or 9 in the evening. But every woman is different and ymmv.
I have been using them everyday since my last period (2 weeks ago) I bought the 30 pack and every one has been negative except once but it was positive and then 4 hours later negative which confused me even more. I have a OB appointment on Monday so hopefully I'll have answers. It just has been making me nervous, considering that it has NEVER been like this before and when it happens sometimes it gets so bad that I have to wear a pad because its too heavy for a pantyliner.

You O'd sweetie. Your LH surge only lasts a few hours and then you won't test positive after that. HTH! I say all is well, but do check with your gyno if you're still concerned.
I used to have tons of EWCM where it would fall into the toilet in huge globs when I was a teen. Freaked me out! I never asked anyone about it and then years later I read a book on fertility and I realized what it was.
I just looked up the supplement you're taking and I would bet money it's because of that. You shouldn't be freaked, you should be ecstatic that it's working so well for you. GL and I hope you see a BFP soon!
