I am new to this board and just wanted to say HI! So many abbriveations to learn on here hopefully I'll get the hang of it soon. Since I can read so much about all of you I figure I will share my story with you:

My DH and I got married in June and I went off the pill in July so we could start TTC. I had my typical August period and then not another one. I have taken more pregnancy tests then I can count since then! I went to my OBGYN in October for my yearly and they had me do some bloodwork. December I found out I was insulin resistant and that was probably the cause of me not having periods. I started metformin in December and met with a nutritionist. At my checkup in Jan. I still hadn't had a period. My doctor said I should start after losing about 10% of my body weight, but I had already lost 20% so I was frustrated. I kept up my diet and metformin and have lost 25% of my body weight. I look and feel great and I finally had a period March 4th. But now its April 15th and nothing. I have taken 3 pregnancy tests, all negative. I don't have another appointment until late July with my doctor for a checkup. I am currently very frustrated with my situation but I am trying to look at the bright side of things but it gets hard some days when all I see is pregnant women. Also, my best friend recently found out she is pregnant with her 3rd 'opps' (she calls them that) and not so happy. Its frustrating that she can get pregnant so easily and not want to and I want to and cannot. I'm sure many of you have felt the same way from time to time which is why I wanted to find some place that I can share my feelings with.

Wow, if you made it through that hello! Thanks for letting me into your community. In order to help me out some if you could reply with an abbreviation and its meaning that would help a lot

Hi, there!

So excited to have you in the group! This is an amazing bunch of women and I'm sure you'll feel right at home!

I'm sorry TTC has been so difficult for you. I've been there and it's miserable. Could you make an appointment with your doc sooner? Maybe a Reproductive Endocronolgist (doctor who specialized in fertility)? Hopefully you can get things sorted out and get a nice BFP (big fat positive) soon!

I'm so excited to get to know you and share your TTC journey!

Also, here's a list of abbreviations. There are a LOT, for sure!

Hi! I'm Luna. I'm 30yo and TTC my third but my DH's (darling husband) second. I was NTNP (not trying, not preventing) for 22 months and now on TTC cycle #3.

Oh, yes. I know EAXCTLY how you feel. I do have two kids already, but it's frustrating no matter what your situation is. Almost all of my friends and co-workers over the last two years have got pregnant. Some days I feel like it will never happen for me again and I am fooling myself. But most days I refuse to give up hope because I am not ready to put away my dream of completing our family.

I would call your doc and see if he will do anything to help jump start your AF again. This must be so frustrating for you. FX that AF comes naturally tho and you get a very very soon.

Anyway welcome to the board. I love love love this board and I hope you find as much support and encouragement as I have. Hopefully your stay is short n sweet.

Hi, welcome to the TTC group. I think we can all relate to you on the being frustrated with trying and seeing others pop up pregnant that didn't want another or didn't have to try. My SO (significant other) and I have come to the conclusion when you try it takes you longer.

Welcome to the board! We've got a great group of ladies on here who will be able to help you out My DH and I have been TTC for 7 months now, so I know the frustration. But I agree with Brittney in maybe seeing a reproductive specialist. GL with everything and KUP!!
