Tested again today at 10 dpo and it was a BFN

At first I wasn't getting my hopes up but when AF didn't come super early like she has been I started to get excited tanking maybe I was pregnant. This sucks

I'm sorry. 10 DPO is still early! You're not out yet! According to Countdown to Pregnancy, up to 42% of pregnant women get a BFN at 10 DPO (see their chart here).

I read an article today about testing dates. 10 DPO is WAAAAAYYYY too early to be testing. There is only a 15% chance of getting a BFP if you ARE pregnant on that day. I'm not sure why we all think this is a great day to test, but it just isn't. I have decided to move that DPO test day back a bit so I won't be unnecessarily disappointed. Give it a couple more days....like 13 DPO and THEN test. You're not out til AF shows.

I agree that 10 dpo is too early. We see some of those 10 dpo BFP floating around on the boards here, but it is much more common to get a BFP closer to 13-14 dpo. Test again in a few days
