How long will Provera or any progesterone supplement keep your temps elevated?

I assumed that this cycle was anovulatory and just basically stopped temping. I thought I'd start AF today because usually she's on her way in pretty soon after I stop taking Provera but no sign of her yet... and my boobs are sore as heck!

My temp this morning is the highest it's been all cycle long so I'm a little nervous that I DID O at some point (though the temp isn't too much higher than the rest of my cycle, it's still the highest) Would the Provera cause my temp to stay high a few days after I'm done taking it? I'm scared because if there's any chance of me being pregnant I don't think I should have taken the Provera then stopped it.

If I did O, I have no idea when it would have been. I don't really think I did, I just hope I didn't at this point (though I guess I secretly hope I did... does this make sense? hahaha)

Oyy.

I don't know how long it can keep your temps up, but progesterone does keep my temps elevated a few days past finishing it (until AF is completely here). Remember that it can take a little while to bring on AF when you finish the progesterone.

And yes, I know exactly what you mean about secretly hoping you did.

I'm not sure about anything unfortunately My temp was higher again today :/ I took a HPT just for the heck of it and it was totally negative. I just wish AF would show up already!!! I've been crampy, though more like cyst pain, but come on now! It's never taken me more than 3 days to start AF post-Provera! Grr!
