As promised, I'm back on CD1. With all that's been going on, I'm just going to post a re-introduction and jump back in!
My name is Annie, my husband are both in our early 30's and are just now starting our 13th cycle of TTC our second forever baby. We have one DD named Alma who is 2.5 and one loss last summer. We recently found out that we are dealing with severe male factor infertility, in addition to my ovulation issues. Our RE is reccomending IVF, but we're exploring alternative therapies first. We're just finishing up with a few more tests and we should have a plan set in place in a couple of weeks!
So that's us in a nutshell. Hope everyone had a good month, and I'm off to see what I've missed!
So glad you are back at it Annie. I've been wondering how you've been I hope you dont have to try long this time around. Sending lots of baby dust your way
We've missed you! Glad you are back and hope you are refreshed. I've been thinking about you and can't wait for you to prove the doctors wrong Didn't you tell us before that acupuncture helped you to get pregnant with Alma?
Oh. My. G-D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lucy and Kim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU'RE PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've missed everyone here so much. I just really needed the break and I think it did me good! I can't believe I missed that though!!!
Lucy - Yes, we're continuing with the acupuncture and DH is starting it now too, so hopefully that will help. We plan on refusing any IVF talk until we've tried it for at least another 3 months so we can see if we can get his numbers up and antibodies down enough to try IUI In the meantime, we're just going to keep on keeping on!
That's awesome for you guys! Gotta stick together in the crazy DDC world Preggo hormones be nuts!
How did your move go? (Or have you moved yet? I remember it was sometime late this month, right?) Anything else new? I mean, new baby, new house, there should be a 3rd thing in there...
Thanks, hun! I really appreciate your support. When I first came to JM you were so encouraging and were supportive of me through my whole journey.
I really think the acupuncture will help both of you, at least so you don't have to do IVF and can have a successful IUI. I mean, if he has enough sperm and you pop out an egg, then I don't see why they would jump to IVF. But I am praying that you will shock all the doctors and not need ANY kind of formal medical intervention to make Alma a big sister.
I really do appreciate the prayers. Ivan has been convinced that we're going to get pregnant before we have to move on to IUI as well, so I hope you're both right!
The move is still going on...BLAH I hate moving...i'm actually in Whitby right now. SO to make a long story short. We decided to renovate the kitchen ...so we tore down the old kitchen and backplash and had DH's father come from Texas (hes a contractor) to do the kitchen for us. He was here last week Friday to SUnday. Obviously it was alot more work then he had thought so it wasnt completed when he had to fly back to Texas. So we now had to hire a contractor to finish it up. We were suppose to move in last SUnday but couldnt so we are moving in this SUnday. I hate hate hate moving. Its too stressful for someone who is in their early pregnancy. I just want to move already and relax Ahhhhhh
Welcome back! I'm new here too! My name is Lacey and DH and I are TTC our first, it's been 8 months now, so we're hoping for a BFP soon!!
Hi Lacey! Hopefully you won't be waiting much longer
Kim - Dude. That blows!!! We have to get some work done on our house this year and I'm totally dreading working with contractors. We've been able to do most of the work ourselves, but some stuff is just better left to the professionals!
Thanks again for the well-wishes everyone. I feel so loved! You're gonna make me feel bad for wanting to get the heck off this board
