I just found out that my wondfos were a bad batch. They have the expiration date of 11/2013, and the lot number ends with 50-3. :/ I found out they were giving false positives.

After the chemical last month, I thought maybe I was catching a break... but no. I'll still buy dollar store tests and I have new wondfos coming in, but seeing as my BD was badly timed seeing as I wasn't sure when I would O, I guess it wasn't good luck and meant to happen, it was just a crappy batch of tests. This is really upsetting. I hadn't gotten my hopes up completely, of course, but at the same time, I still had hope... I could still test and be surprised with a bfp, this could be some sort of test from God, but it's definitely discouraging. I'll test again tonight and let you ladies know what's going on. I pray to God that this is real and I'll keep trusting, but that's all I have right now. I feel sick, but I'm trying to stay faithful.

I think that's the same ones I had/have and I only had 1 test give me a questionable line, I still have a pic of it that I never posted but its from my phone and not very clear. Anyways I wouldn't get discouraged yet, it's still can be a bfp, just because others have had false bfp's doesn't mean your are too. So don't be down, and stop reading google.

Even though I got some false positives earlier on these, they will work if you are pregnant, if that's any comfort. You should write the company you bought them from and request a refund or replacement tests.

I had to go grocery shopping tonight so I got 5 dollar store tests and some answers, since I don't trust the IC's. I get paid tomorrow so I splurged. xD

I just tested again but it is my third pee of the day and I might only be 8dpo, so I got a stark bfn (I think) on my dollar store test. Its the kind that looks like an IC.

I googled the expiration date and found my lot number on a thread on another site for false positives.

I still have hope for you! I took a FRER just now and it was a BFN. I might pick up some $$ store tests tomorrow. I am so glad that you told me about that batch # of Wondfos. I am thinking about you!

I feel your pain. I had a bad batch too. I will say mine only looked positive after the time limit it seemed (of course I also had a mean indent line on an answer but thats another discussion). I would hope if your lines were coming up in the time limit perhaps they were still early BFPs. You have every right to vent between last cycle and bad wondfos, its enough to make anyone crazy! FXed for you!
