So, long story short... I want to keep my pregnancy a secret (when i get pregnant) for a while, but I want to give people (on facebook) clues without being obvious about it, and see how long it is until someone guesses.
I'd love ideas! ( I like to get things prepared ahead of time).
So far what I've come up with is: posting a picture of a bean sprouting (just with a nonchalant caption like "This...looks freaky."), I've grabbed an image of the glee chick singing "its a man's world" while she's heavily pregnant (it just shows her face and the lyrics though, so its not super obvious), and was thinking of song lyrics I could post with the excuse they're just running through my head (One, its like a dream come true...)
Also taking a picture of a pack of size 5 (Monster's size) diapers sitting on a shelf in the store, just coincidentally next to a pack of newborn diapers.
So...any ideas ladies? I wanna get a whole file of stuff prepared to use! Haha
My friend (and this one might be too obvious) took a picture of the spaghetti sauce "Prego". I bet you could take a picture of Prego and Ragu and say something like "which one?"
What a fun idea! I might need to do something similar!
I googled early pregnancy symptoms, and grabbed a pic of a woman leaning over the sink, looking like she was worn out and ready to puke..but she's not obviously pregnant. I was thinking post that with a "Yep, I feel ya sister..." caption underneath? People could think I was just not feeling well that day.
I also thought about shoving a ball up under lily's shirt, and taking a picture of it. She'd look hilarious, and I could pass it off as her playing around.
This is so fun! I was thinking about stuff like that for when I finally get preggo....but I'm not creative I can't think of anythinng hahah.
I did have a friend, who for her announcement took a pic of her, her husband, and her 5 years old all standing in a line, sticking out their belly and the caption said, "One of us is pregnant...Take a guess." It was really cute

If it's around a holiday, you could say how excited you are for that holiday or post holiday-esque pictures.
A body builder with the caption "Hard work pays off" cause we all know TTC isn't easy!
A picture of a present since our children are precious gifts.
I'm full of simple ideas

I like the idea of referencing a bun in the oven! You could say something about being tired from baking bread or something. My wording is terrible, but you get the idea.
One idea that I thought was cute was to put your dh's shoes next to your shoes and then your childrens/childs shoes next to those and last a pair of baby shoes, take a pic and post that on fb.

That is a very cute idea, but...its too obvious. I want little not-so-obvious things that will accumulate until people finally go O__O Are you PREGNANT?! hahaha
If you are looking for song ideas, I have a few. I was a music major in college.
Hello My Baby - Howard and Emerson
Marc Cohn - Ghost Train
Having my baby - Paul Anka
Keeping my baby - Madonna
Too Busy Thinking bout my baby - Marvin Gaye
All She Wants - Ace of Base
Ha ha or Justin Beiber Baby Baby Oh! I don't even know if that's the name of the song! I just know that's all he says! Ah, I love this. And I love Brittney's idea for doing a bun in the oven! I wonder if you could take a picture of some "buns" in your oven and be like "look what I just made"
Well, everyone knows that we have been trying for awhile, so I'm not sure much of anything will be a surprise. But I was thinking that when we announce the gender (if we do) that I will use an idea put on pinterest. It was the expected parents opening a big cardboard box with a ? mark on it and the appropriate colored balloons float out

Ooh, I like that!
Definitely going to use it! *adds it to her list*
My goal is to keep people guessing for at least 6 months....and I'm going to ask everyone that guesses correctly to shh!

Only a few of my friends know we are trying. No relatives do at all. (None of our families want us to have another one. They say Lily is enough.) So, we're keeping it quiet to them too. Not because we're ashamed of it, but more of a thumbing our noses. Kind of: Well, if you don't want us to have another, then the fact that we are is none of your bloody business.
