I took my first cycle of clomid last cycle, Supposed to start AF today but no sign as of yet. I took a preg. test and it was negative. My dr. said I didn't O so I am just wondering if clomid makes AF delayed. Anyone experience this? Thank you

if it's an anovulatory cycle, and you didn't O, then it could delay AF. Just what I've heard, but I don't know if that's for sure.

Hope you find out something soon! C'mon body!!! Work!

I just met with RE today to start clomid he said that clomid does delay AF and it usually makes your cycle 35 days instead of 30.

I took clomid with my first and wasnt told this. After my period was due I took pregnancy test it was neg. a few days later I took test again still neg. Booked follow up and a week later met with specialist and turned out I was pregnant.

Ladies thank you for the information, I sure hope this is all correct. I can handle my period being delayed and negative tests for a week only if it says positive than.

When I have a cycle where I don't ovulate, I don't have AF at all. I have to take progesterone to force a new cycle.

A much happier outcome would certainly be a BFP in a few days though, so I have my fingers crossed for you!
