So although me and DH had decided to start TTC there have been days when I second guess sometimes just too worried about what it could mean for the baby. Well today I was at my youngest sons 3 year NICU follow-up appointment and was able to discuss with the specialists what risks we were facing with another child and how much more at risk they would be for death considering how my son passed.

They told us that thankfully we actually wouldnt be at that much of an increased risk for it happening again. She was very encourging to us having another baby and said that all indications were that the baby could be healthy!!!!

It was such a big relief. We still know the hurdles with me and the risks of Autism are staggeringly high but so happy the other risks arent too much!

As a little happy side note...my 31 weeker who had so many problems for the past few years is completely caught up. No more lung issues, no more medical issues, and was considered developementally on track...apart from the autism and speach issues.

So now with all that out of the way....Bring on the baby!!!!! Hopefully this will be our month!

As a former NICU nurse, I am so happy to hear that your little one is doing so well!! I often wonder how my former little patients are so this gives me a smile

I hope this will be your month too!! FX for you.
