I definitely ovulated on Friday morning, making today 2 DPO and today I have a cyst, its on my right ovary and boy is it tender! Now I have been known to get cysts so it could just be a regular old cyst but I have heard about a cyst that has. something to do with helping implantation later on, something about progesterone? I can't seem to find much info on it mainly cuz I don't know the name of it or what it does, I'm just going off of a dim memory. Does anyone know anything about this cyst that is needed in possible early pregnancy? Does it happen on 2 dpo or is it much later? Does it feel like a regular cyst? How does it help in the pregnancy process?

never mind, I found it, I'm thinking of a corpus lutuem cyst which occurs in general right after ovulation where the egg was released, sometimes it disengrates other times its stays and produces progesterone to help sustain pregnancy until until placenta takes place, either way its common and doesn't really mean anything until you get your BFP or af arrives
