Hello I'm new here. I've only been lurking for a few weeks. Here's my background. I'm 21 Ive been on BC (the pill) for about 4 years untill April 19 this year I stopped taking it. I usually have irregular periods. So i had my period March 26 then it didnt happen again untill May 5th which was actually a chemical pregnancy . I just had my period June 3rd. I had unprotected sex the 9, 10 and 12. Right after my period I had dull cramps then went away yesterday. Yesterday and the day before I had more discharge then I normally would through out my whole cycle (no bad odor or weird color) I looked it up and think it was because I might be ovulating. I also felt like my breast were heavier yesterday. How can you tell your ovulating? I never keep track of my cycle but now that I am TTC its hard to tell my fertile days. How long did it take for you to get pregnant? Do you think you think I ovulated or is it way to early?
The only real way to know whether or not you ovulated is to start tracking your BBT (basal body temperature). There's lots of websites offering information about it, but the best one I've found, and that most people use, is fertilityfriend.com. It's free, and pretty user friendly. There's a free, very comprehensive course on charting and ovulation, and it will help you determine when ovulation occured.
You can also monitor your cervical mucus (I know, yuck) and fertility friend discusses this as well. Check it out, it's worth the time it will take you to read up on it.
