I'm 29 years old and have just been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovaries, but am clear of PCOS. I do not have the syndrome. It was a surprise to me, because my periods are generally normal... although, err on the long side; 39 days.
Me and my partner were planning on starting at home inseminations in September and I got the exam as the first step in our TTC journey.
I'm just wondering if anyone has PCO and is TTC without drugs? Or has anyone with PCO got their BFP without the help of clomid or other drugs?
Sorry, I don't have any experience with this, however I believe there is a board for women with PCOS that might be able to give you better feedback. Maybe you could post there and see what everyone's experience was. GL!

What are they considering the syndrome? The only reason I ask is because PCOS impacts many women differently. For example, I have PCOS but do not have the insulin resistance portion.
I was able to conceive on Metformin. While it seemed like it took forever at the time, I got pregnant the month they got me on the right dosage (I spent 2 months at 500mg before moving to 1000mg the month I got pregnant).
Definitely pop into the PCOS board, you will see the many variations we all have over there too.
A BIG thank you to Jaidynsmum for my awesome siggy!
