I have been super b*tchy lately because I have had absolutely zero signs of being pregnant and AF was due yesterday, so I just assumed that old b*tch was coming. Boy, was I going to shower her with a littany of choice words.

Since she didn't show yesterday and is usually very punctual about showing up on the 11th, I bought a test this morning and figured what the heck. I took it about half an hour ago and am seeing a faint line. Could this seriously be real? I have NO symptoms.

Now if you'll pardon me, I have to go, my two co-workers demanded that I go sit in the bathroom and chug water and listen to the running faucet so I can take the other two tests to make sure that this one isn't wrong...so that's where I'll be until they say I can stop! lol.

THANK YOU! <3
Is it standard for dr offices not to do blood tests to confirm? I've called two office and neither of them would do a blood test to confirm, they both said to come in when i'm 8 weeks along. I guess they don't want to waste money to test if its not real?

Call your primary care Dr. Ask for a quantitative HCG panel. They will do it.

It is standard, unless you have some sort of documented fertility issues, or have had multiple losses or something. Most OBs will not do it standard for "normal risk" patients. My OB does not see patients until 10 weeks.
