My DH thinks it is cute. He calls it 'threading' and 'looking at pee sticks' lol. He used to think DH meant 'dumb husband' Ha Ha Ha ! For the longest I didn't tell him. I didn't want him to think I was crazy obsessed with TTC. So what does your DH think of JM or is JM your own little secret getaway ?

Mine thinks it's neat! He has never been on to read anything though. He likes that I have an outlet to talk all about TTC lol

He doesn't mind it, I guess. I was pretty active during my pregnancy, and still post regularly in my Jan 2010 play room, so I guess he's used to it. He'll sometimes ask what's new here. He says that as long as it is supportive and contributes to my life, it's a good thing. So many message boards can be filled with negativity, competition, "mommy wars," etc. But JM has been a good place to be!

I love JM it is really a supportive place. I have come across posts via google from other Mommy sites and yikes ! They get pretty mean !

He thinks JM is funny. I'm on a lot of forums, so he was already familiar with the concept. DH definitely thinks some of the stuff here (like our obsession with looking at pee sticks) is crazy, but enjoys listening to the occasional post I'll read to him. I think he appreciates that I have girls to obsess with, so I don't take it out on him 100% of the time (not that he doesn't still ask about my temp every morning... ).

I think he's used to it by now. Even our dog has a vag. (Though she's fixed, so no estrogen I don't think? They take out the ovaries with that too, right?)

My husband knows and I give him updates on BFPs and unfortunately any losses as well. He will ask what is happening with so and so and things like that. I been on another board, where I basically just lurked cause there was so much anger and bitterness on there. That negativity start to spread and I was starting to get that way. Now he is glad I found a place with support and positive people.

He will even add in our prayers for everyone at the baby forum that needs them.

My DH would make fun of me, lol. Which is fine considering I make fun of him about 20:1. I figure I will tell him when I get pregnant as not to stress him out about TTC, lol.

He loves it because I have somewhere to talk about babies and not with him as when I do him all the time it reminds him that he cant give what he wants to give and reminds him how hurt I am since the loss and he likes it that I can go to you ladies and feel better and he feels better knowing I do.

So all is good. It would annnoy me him asking how you all are etc etc lol

I used to be on a different forum a LOT back when we were engaged and then a year or so after we were married, but things just got so negative there I left. When I started using JM he just asked, "So is this the new Nest then?" and didn't give it another thought.

I have been on JM since TTC DS and DH knows about it. It is my "secret mommies group" Occasionally I'll read him some posts and he'll be reminded why he doesn't want to know what goes on in the ladies world LOL.

Tony was like this when I first told him I have joined a TTC group. He says we decuided I was not going to obsess. I explained I need someone to talk too as you dont get it. He got it in the end and hes cool with it and thankful.

Yeah....mine thinks I'm obsessing too much too. Lol. But he likes that I have an outlet for this, and I give him good tips from you ladies and he usually is pretty interested. I just know what he doesn't want to hear about, so I keep some of those things between Me, and the JM ladies. ahhahaa

He's a member of a few message boards and he was the one who suggested me looking into finding one for ttc, since he was hearing so much about it and was getting overwhelmed. A quick google search found me here, and I've been here ever since. I adore JM! <3

DH is really happy I get to. Ent and talk about us TTC, he loves his kids and loves the act of TTC but talking about it he isnt a big fan of. He calls my time on JM as " mommies quiet time" ...lol
