Well I went to the doctor today and had an ultrasound. I have one follicle but it doesn't look good. She said to give it till CD30 and if I don't O or get AF by then start the provera. She went ahead and called in a script for a higher dose of Clomid (I think 150mg).

So it kinda sucks that it most likely won't happen this cycle, but as least I don't have any cysts or anything. Also now I know for certain I won't be too far along to go on the cruise we have planned for January. Trying to stay positive.

Hugs. Glad you are getting the medical care you need! I have heard clomid working wonders for lots of women so I hope the higher does and the provera do the trick next cycle.

Well, maybe God really wants you on that cruise, so he's holding off until next cycle!

Also, no cysts? That is AWESOME.

I am sorry that you didn't get better news. Having to just keep upping the dosage to even O sucks, especially when you have a deadline looming over your head.

I'm sorry you didn't get better news. Hopefully you still have a chance this cycle! But hey, if not, you'll have a much cuter bikini bump on your cruise. Nobody wants bloated cankles poolside

Thanks! I really do feel blessed to have the doctor I do. She wants to help me on a personal as well as professional level. Plus I know where she lives.

Ha! I doubt he really cares if I go on a cruise or not. Although it will be nice to go on one (hopefully) last good family vacation before baby. Especially since it's not just us, but my mother and sisters and possible Josh's dad and step-mom as well.

Definitely a sigh of relief when she said there wasn't any cysts, considering my last few cycles...

Haha! That's very true. I'm hoping to be in the second trimester, so maybe I'm over morning sickness but not quite a whale yet.
