Apparently the one I bought from Walmart less than 2 months ago is already dying. The beeping sounds like it could go any day now. What a waste of money So that I don't get ripped off again, what thermometer would you recommend, either online or from a chain store?

The first BBT thermometer I ever used was from Walmart and I always got rocky temps. My more recent one I got from CVS pharmacy and is doing much better!

I got mine from either CVS or Walgreens. It has been working for almost two months. Clare says that most BBTs don't last long due to batteries. I would try a drugstore one.

Thanks for the advice. I stopped at CVS after work to pick one up. Maybe I was just lucky but my first BBT lasted over a year. It was the BT brand or something like that but I think they were bought out. Hopefully this CVS one will last me a little longer.
