I woke up,got the thermometer to take my temp.

Pressed it and made sure it turned on and noticed a flashing icon in the corner of the lcd. I thought it was the battery going low and I do not have a replacement yet.. so I was there with the thermometer inside hoping that it would give a good temp. I was doing the math of when I can get a replacement to me, really panicking.

So then I took it out and read the screen and jotted it down and low and behold the flashing icon had gone.. so I thought ahh it only tells you when you turn it on.

So i turned it off and turned it on again.... the flashing icon came on and the panic set in AGAIN>

Then I realised it was just the Celsius c sign flashing to tell me I have it set to Celsius...

Then I felt silly.

That is great I've already thought I've turned on my thermometer and laid there in bed waiting for the darn thing to beep for about 5 minutes until I finally took it out and saw that I never turned it on! I'm not always the brightest first thing in the morning

I have done the thing with thermometer in mouth waiting for it to beep but it wasn't on. I also once fell asleep with it in my mouth, it beeped and startled me. Pretty sure temp wasn't right that morning LOL.

Glad your battery wasn't dying Clare

I have done that before too where the thing wasn't turned on, lol.

For vaginal temping, how long is it supposed to be inside you? I do about 2 minutes...
