I thought I ovulated on Thursday or even Friday and the opk's I've been taking haven't been positive... Then BAM! Blaring positive this morning (not fmu, i went 2-3 hours before) lots of cm... And we haven't BD'd since Thursday evening, 2.5 days ago and we used a little ky (oily kind) that time so I felt it was a bust anyway. We're moving completely today and I dunno how long my surge will last. It could have happened during the night. He talked about having sex in the new house later but that probably won't be for another 8 hours at least.

I'm so frustrated! Am I broken or have I just been doing it at the wrong time for a year?? Lol do I get a mini surge at cd17 and then O later? I'm just tired of trying for so long and then having a beautiful positive on a day we can't really BD. sorry for the rant.

You don't ovulate until 12-48 hours after you have gotten your first positive opk. I'm sure if you can do it tonight then you will catch the egg ok. X

I agree that you still have time to BD in the new house. Most people ovulate 24-48 hours after the first positive opk. Have you tried charting? I learned a ton about my cycle once I started charting. It was a lot more helpful to me than just using opks.

Lots of to you and I hope that the move goes well!

Yeah you don't actually O until 12-48 hours after your +OPK so you still have time! BDing 8 hours later shouldn't be a problem.

Well we got a quick BD session in but not until past midnight! **** hubby is a trooper. We spent 9 hours cleaning the house, 3 hours in a uhaul, and the last 2 bringing everything into the new apartment and he still found the strength. I really hope this was our lucky try! First bd in the new apartment by my new base for mu new job. Maybe a new baby too? I can only hope!

Baby dust to everyone this cycle!
