wikipedia says that 'normally' ovulation occurs 6 weeks (42 days) on average after removal of implanon...If thats the case with an average luteal phase of say 13 days, you would ideally get your period 55 days after removal. This is the ideal case. You may take longer to resume ovulating, in which case your first period after removal will be pushed back further. Remember, even though you say you have had regular cycles while on the birth control, you do not ovulate. Thats how implanon works. You need to give your body some time for it to go back to ovulating and resetting the normal menstrual cycle. Good luck. Hang in there
With birth control, your body is "tricked" into a cycle - but it is really just fabricated by the hormones! Im sure your body is just taking some time to get used to cycling on its own. FX your AF comes soon and that your next cycle is a normal one!
Expecting our second blessing May 9, 2015!
BC is an awful thing :/ I've been off for 7 months now and this is only the second time I have O'd! It's just one of those times you have to wait it out. I hope you aren't waiting too long before your body gets back to normal!
