Well I am on CD4. I went to my obgyn today and she did another beta and an ultrasound. She said that either I still have a little more bleeding to do or my lining is already starting to build up, but I think I still have some more bleeding to do as I am still bleeding off and on.

She said my beta results from 13 dpo were hcg=18 and progesterone=2. She referred me to an RE.fertility specialist and I have an appointment with her tomorrow morning. She also gave me a prescription for vaginal progesterone suppositories that I have to take post ovulation. So I already got that filled and with me, so now I just have to pick up another BBT (since I thru mine out in a fit of anger) and I should be all set to start another cycle.

I'm curious what the RE will say tomorrow, but I am staying hopeful that the progesterone is the issue and all will be well next time. I guess all I have to grasp on to is hope and the trying of something new, so I'm trying to stay positive even if it is hard at times.

I'll update everyone tomorrow after my RE visit.

Mindy, I am glad you are staying positive. I hope that the progesterone suppositiories is all you need for your sticky bean. Do update us after the RE visit.

I'm really, really glad that you're getting in with an RE. I hope they can pinpoint the problem so that you can have a solid solution in hand with the next cycle - I hope the progesterone does the trick and you have a rainbow baby very, very soon. I'm interested in what the RE says/does, too - I've had 2 losses in a short span of time and I really want to get moving on the next pregnancy - I don't think I can handle another loss right away.

Thanks everyone!

Leah, have they done any miscarriage testing on you yet? I wonder if a baby aspirin and some progesterone might help?

I'm hoping that we can figure it out and I am not one of the 50% on RPL patients that never gets an answer or solution.

I completely understand not wanting to have another loss right away. I have thought about that too, but I feel completely stubborn on this issue. If I have to have 10 losses to get my 1 baby then I will do whatever it takes to get me to that 1 baby. Granted, there may come a time if I have another couple losses where I will need to take a breather and just ground myself again. I hope it doesn't come to that.

I feel the same way, Mindy. I am so terrified of another loss, but it is worth trying and we will keep trying until I have my baby. It is scary, though. I haven't seen an RE and since one was a chemical and the next one was an ectopic, there were two different reasons for the losses.

I only have one side now, though, so I may consider asking for Clomid or something else to help boost my ovulation on the left side (my right side always developed a lot of follicles, the left side is my weak side).

My friend is having an embryo transfer done (IVF) at the end of the month and it would be awesome to be pregnant together and have babies the same age. If I can't conceive in the next few months I'll call our OB and ask about getting some help. I'm almost 36 and I would like to get this show on the road sooner rather than later (if it takes too long, DH will not want to keep trying - he's worried about being "too old" and having genetic problems with the baby).

I am so glad you got in to see the RE so quickly.
I hope the progesterone is the trick... You have half down (being able to get pg) so now is just figuring out how to have a sticky bean.
I am thinking + thoughts for you

I really hope that the RE appt will give you a better idea and help you get a plan in place in order for ya'll to get pregnant. Hopefully all you need is the progesterone and you will have a super sticky bean on your hands next cycle. Definitely look forward to your update after your appt.
