I haven't paid a ton of attention to my cycles...but it's typically 28 days although here and there they have been a little longer. On the 22nd I had intense cramping on one sideand then a big glob of cm. so I'm pretty sure that's when I O'd which would have been day 16 of my cycle. ( I never got o cramps until after having DS, and it's not every month). We BDed that night.

So here is my question- I read that hcg doesn't start until implantation and implantation happens 8-12 days after conception. I have had 2 neg hpts...but is it possible that I implanted late and am testing too early? AF should be due today, but could come tomorrow or Tuesday. ( it just doesn't feel like she's on her way)

Just curious if anyone cares to elaborate or knows any more! I would love to be preg now, but if I'm not I want AF to hurry up and get here so we can get to bding for the next cycle.

Well, AF was still a no show so I tested again. Here's the pic at 14dpo

I have always heard that implantation would be 7-10 days after conception. It is possible to have late implantation and I have heard that it can be up until 18DPO before getting a positive HPT. Hormones and things are different for every person. Some people are able to get a positive right away, while other people's hormone levels rise more slowly for one reason or another and it takes them longer to get a positive. I am sure it is still possible for you to get a positive. Hope this helps.

Thanks! I got a really early bfp with my first, so I'm guessing AF is just playing tricks.
