I started BBT charting this cycle, and my chart looks a mess. Is it supposed to be so erratic? I'm doing it as soon as I wake up, at the same time each morning (except for Saturday mornings, because I work a night shift on Friday). If anyone is good at this, please tell me if this is normal.

Can you post your chart or a link to your chart. Seeing it would actually help.

Mine looks like that, too. Up, down, up, down, up . . . This is my first full month charting. I have NO idea when I'm going to O.

I'm thinking about trying that this month. My dh usually goes to work at 7 everyday, so I hear his alarm. I can easily fall back to sleep so that might work for me.

Now, I just need to learn how to read a chart!! I guess that's the fun part huh?

Your chart looks absolutely fine to me. What you're looking for once you ovulate is a complete temp shift to a higher level.
