I have been coupon clipping for about a year now and have found this site to be the best ever!!!
CouponDede.com: Fastest, largest selection! You have found the BEST clipping service available!

This past month we went to the commissary and got around $365.00 in groceries and walked away spending close to $50.00 It has taken me some time to get in the sync of coupon clipping BUT over all we have saved a total of $2000.00 last year alone in groceries

You pick the coupons for items you use the most and have to spend a total of $5.00 on coupons which turns out to be quite a bit Our commissary has some amazing ones too but they are random and not always for things we buy.

Just wanted to share a bit with you girls!!

Set the trend for Canada Someone introduced it to me and I could kick myself for wasting money on groceries because there were things we were "saving" up for and could have bought them sooner. We ended up paying DH's truck off an entire year earlier due to the fact of how much we saved on groceries and some other things.

Oh, very cool! I need to check out that site. Our Sunday paper often has coupons, but they are usually for products we don't buy. I like the idea of selecting products you usually buy and then getting coupons for them!

Yeah that was the problem I was having when I first started clipping. I was literally buying stuff we never used... And the coupons are more than food. There are some great ones for household goods, razors, shampoo/conditioner, dog food, diapers etc

I do some couponing here in Canada but We don't have the deals you guys do there. The other issue I have is I try to avoid most products that coupons are offered for. They don't have many coupons for organic products or the fruit and veggies here mostly Proter gamble/Kraft/nestle products like that.

Ditto hopeful! I get overwhelmed quickly (mainly because my grocery shopping is done with little hands trying to grab everything they can't have!)

I literally plan out my shopping. SO I look at the sunday sales papers to see what is on sale and such. Then I literally tear through my house to see what I need to buy. We tend to do the HUGE grocery shopping trip every 2-3 months and just get odd and end things in between.

The best thing about online coupons are you can print or buy the ones you will use. Comp shopping if you have time is really good as well. Like I know exactly what wal-mart, the commissary, albertson's etc has that I buy all the time and which place sells it cheaper. I tend to get more things at the commissary because it is tax free as well.

If you are wanting to buy more than one item but the coupon calls for only one of that particular item per check out then I usually set it aside and have the cashier ring up my "second lot " of things after my first ones.

I have literally walked into the grocery store and have gotten 300.00 worth of groceries for less than 100.00 If you have netflix "Extreme Couponing" is very helpful as well and I recommend watching it

Yeah I am definitely going to start doing this. I actually just started meal planning too. I have a few main ingredients, like boneless/skinless chicken breast, and figure out what I will cook each day and how much of the main ingredients I will need. So hopefully that with the couponing will save some money.

I meal plan and base all my shopping around that. I've tried couponing but I get overwhelmed easily
