Hey ladies. So far things are going well. DH encouraged me to try the soy because of my long last cycle and some family history. I am taking it from days 2-6 starting with 80 iu for the first two days and 120 for the last 3. My cycle was short. I have never had a short cycle unless I am on the iud. Day 4 was mild spotting in the am and it was over. Makes me wonder if my lining was thick enough last month? Vaginal temping is going well. My temps are consistent so far and I feel like I will be able to detect O with confidence this cycle. My last luteal phase was 8 days so I wonder if I actually O'd. Is there anything I can do to improve lining?

Bromelain, take it days 1-5DPO only though as it can cause uterine contractions. Some people do the pineapple core thing which is essentially the same thing.

I am excited for you this cycle!!! Really hoping that SI helps and you get your bfp!!! I am glad that DH is supportive and encouraging You may not be able to do the pineapple core/ bromelain because it acts like taking a 81mg baby aspirin.

Wow. I just had a thought... Coumadin delays my blood clotting... Could that actually affect my uterine lining? I have no clue how the uterine lining is formed. :/

Although I think it could be one of the effects of the IUD as well.

That I am not sure about. I would probably give your OB a call and see what they say about that. It could be possible but I'm not sure because I have never had an IUD or been on Coumadin.

My OB hasn't had any patients on coumadin. She researched it pretty well before agreeing to keep me as a patient if I got pregnant. She is only going to be seeing me though for the Minor things, Duke will be taking over. I may call them or ask them if I have any problems later.
