Tomorrow is CD 37 and still haven't ovulated. This is so beyond ridiculous and I am so depressed over it. At what point should I call my doctor about this? Should I call my doctor about this? Ugh. I am afraid I will get blown off because this is our first cycle trying this time but this is EXACTLY what happened when we were TTC #1 and it took us 2 years and three rounds of clomid to finally get pregnant. I am really starting to feel like our #2 daughter was a miracle child.

If you have a history of needing to use medical assistance then I would go to your doctor. If it is the same doctor you used before then they should be understanding. If it is a new doctor then just say you were having problems before and are ready to start TTC again.

To tell you the truth... I would just say you have been trying with no luck. I mean when I went in for my initial testing a little over a year ago.. we had only been TTC fultime for about 6 months. But we had done the NTNP for over 3 years.. so I just put it all together as how long we had been TTC.. and they took me seriously from the beginning. When we found out there was no explanation for our troubles we decided to hold off MA, partly due to the fact I was scared and the other fact DH was gone for some training during that time. NOW that we have a plan with our RE I feel so much better.

Doctors are paid to do the stuff they love and sometimes in order to get what you love, you have to "stretch" the truth a bit.

I hope this helps

It's so funny you say that GamerPrincess because when I was talking to my BF about going to the doctor and how you are supposed to have been actively trying for a year before they really do anything he said well as far as THEY know we have been. lol.

But yea, it seems like if you had to have clomid last time then their should be no reason for them to play games now. No point in wasting time as far as I can see.

I was just at my doctor about 2-3 weeks ago for my yearly visit and they know I am on my first pp cycle or I probably would stretch the truth.

I have super long cycles too... usually 59 days or so. I started VITEX this go 'round. If you have PCOS, soy may be a bad idea, just fyi. I've heard good things about EPO though...

I do have PCOS. I tried soy a few years ago and I did ovulate that cycle but had the shortest LP ever.

I did one round at 50 mg and then two rounds of 100 mg. Got pregnant on that third round.

I was just thinking you could take the soy again but just make sure to take a b complex too to help lengthen you luteal phase. I really hope that either you ovulate or get to move onto a fresh cycle for a fresh start. I would probably say something to your doctor and see if they will call you in a script for Clomid again. Fingers crossed for you!!!

Thanks for the advice! I did not know that about taking the b complex along with it so many it would work for me. I will probably see if I can do clomid and if he doesn't want me to yet maybe give this a shot. Hopefully I can get around to another cycle soon and start over again.
