Hey Ladies,

Happy St. Patty's Day ladies!!!! I know that I posted it in my previous post but thought I would make it a separate post and see what ya'll thought. So if and when AF ever decides to show up, do you think I should just jump back into taking Clomid my 100mg on CD 3-7 again?? Or do you think I should try taking Soy Isoflaves?? I am just very nervous about going back on the Clomid (it would be my third cycle on that dose so if it doesn't work, then I they would up my dose). Now mind you, this cycle I am currently on, was free of Clomid, OPKs, and temping because I needed a break. I am just terrified of turning back into the big bad Clomid monster again if you know what I mean. Whether I take the Clomid or SI, I will definitely be trying out the EPO because that sounds like it will help because Clomid certainly dries me out. Anyway, just looking for your thoughts and ideas are.

Love Ya,
Sarah Jane

If you don't want the Clomid monster try soy for a cycle or two before going back to Clomid.

That is true. I was going to see what the NP says. Since I still haven't gotten AF I am just buckling under and going to go in. See if she is down with my wanting a more natural approach instead of the clomid monster. Or maybe she would write me a script for Femara.

I've heard soy can have the same side effects as clomid. Never used either but if yoi react that badly to one I would think the other might be the same effect. Not sure though. GL.

Yeah soy made me an angry face this cycle. It also dried up my CM but the mucinex, fertile CM, and EPO all helped alot. I would request Femara because from what I have read it is much nicer

Sounds like a good idea. I just know that I can't handle the Clomid monster and neither can DH. He just keeps his head down and makes very little eye contact with me. I guess if she can't or won't write script for Femara and whatever the results are from his SA show, we may still just have to buckle under and see the Fertility Specialist.

Sorry I don't know anything about these things, but hope whatever you decide works a lot better for you!

I only have clomid experience but I guess I had it pretty easy with side effects since I only had headaches for a few days and hot flashes. Maybe give it another cycle without the clomid?

I am also curious about EPO. I took it at the end of my last pregnancy to help get my cervix ready. What is its use in TTC? Very interested!

Thanks mommamindy I am just beginning to lose hope that this cycle is ever going to end!!!! It is driving me crazy. I know I get cranky when I am on my period but I am even crankier when I don't have a period at all. I just want to get back to feeling "normal" again without all the false hope from the weird symptoms I am having.
