Hey ladies, i know some of you have already posted on this but i can't find the post. I was wondering if anyone has an idea of what tests i should be asking my doctor to do as far as blood tests go.

I went recently and just chatting with Df tonight i think the doctor did not order the right kind of tests. Let's just say she is not my doctor and wanted to get me out of there quick. Not very impressed, and they haven't called me back to talk to me about my results! I am hoping to get a call back tomorrow to set up a follow up appointment and i plan on not beating around the bush and telling her exactly what i want, i pay to see her after all!

Thanks ladies! Sorry for the venting!

I know in my fertility work up I just had drawn, they did CBC, CMP/BMP, TSH, Hgb A1C, FSH, and coag panel. The TSH checks your thyroid out, FSH checks out follicle stimulating hormone (this can check to see if you have issues with your ovaries, PCOS, and or going through early menopause), and Hgb A1C was done to see if maybe I have issues with my blood sugar. Coag panel was done to see it I have abnormal clotting factors or issues.I hope that this kinda points you in the right direction. Fingers crossed for you!!! Hope the doctor listens to you and takes your input seriously.
