TTC can be so draining, physically and mentally. Several months ago my two best friends and I planned a girl's weekend at the spa at hotel Hershey and it's coming up in a couple days. I am so grateful for the break - and being that AF came, I can have a chocolatini or two and indulge in my chocolate hydrotherapy without any guilt or wondering! That's the little thing that's cheering me up this week, anyone else have something fun and non-ttc related planned?
I hope you enjoy your spa day DH and I are going on vaca in about 2 weeks Much needed time because we have not left the state since 2011 :O Military duty calls we go but now it is time for us to have much needed time with my inlaws in Lousiana! I am jealous about your chocolate spa day
I am so glad that you are able to take a break I agree that it is very important to get away. TTC is so draining and exhausting. I am going next week to my parents home in Ohio to go to a huge Vera Bradley sale I am so excited!!! Even more excited though that DS will be staying with my parents for the whole month of April!!! He is so excited to see grandma&grandpa. He said he is ready for a break from us. So it does mean I will be working a little extra to help pay for MA but means DH and I will also have some more alone time
A Vera sale?! Awesome!!! Good for both of you for getting away and getting some you/couple time! It's hard not to let TTC take over sometimes, so I hope that our little breaks will result in BFPs from all the relaxation
We aren't doing anything special...but I have found a new drink that I really love...so I have been having a glass of that almost every night and having my own little "vaca". It's finally starting to feel like spring...so it's nice to have the windows open and listen to birds sing while you are sipping on a cocktail. But baseball season starts this weekend so we will be going, going, going with that. Have fun on your spa trip...I hope one day I can do that too!!!
