I'm worried about there not being a very big difference in the tests even though they're 4 days apart. Is this slow of progression still ok? I'm thinking i should back these up with a different brand. What do you recommend?

Top test is 2 days before AF was due.
Bottom test is 2 days after she was due.
2 diff angles

I think it looks ok. If you're worried though, I would call the Dr. to get a beta draw and another in 2-3 days and see that the numbers are doubling. Good Luck! Congratulations again!

I don't have an ob yet... Haven't even started the search :/ For now, I'm gonna try a diff brand. Idk what to use though, I've only ever used FRER.

On early-pregnancy-test. com they have progression hpt's but they are kinda spendy. I don't know how you feel about planned parenthood but they can be your "early" OB and draw blood and such and help you find an OB.

Well it went from being unable to see the line on the top, to I can see it on the bottom. I hope that encourages you (I usually can't see the squinter lines)

I just wanted to let you know that with my 2nd preg, the only preg I took multiple tests with....over the course of 5 days...the lines were barely darker. They never get as dark as the ones I saw and my HCG levels were not even on the lower end of normal=))) So, some of these tests just perform this way. You are passed your period so it's unlikely it is a chemical pregnancy....I think this is a sticky one...praying!! Try to enjoy....and not worry.....I know that is hard, trust me. xoxo

I see a beautiful progression. In the early stages of pregnancy sometimes the doubling time can be as long as 72 hours and you may have O'd later than you thought I would retest in a couple of days with another FRER or Answer brand Have you tried a digi yet?

Thank you ladies. My husband thinks I'm worried over nothing too. With my son i didn't test until 6 days late so never experienced faint lines. I'm just paranoid i guess

Are digis expensive? I'm thinking of trying another brand in a few days. I've only taken these 2.

Definitely progression there. I don't think you would need an OB to get blood tests do you? I know I can go to the regular GP if I'm pregnant and they will send me to get blood tests but I don't know how it works over there. It might make you feel better getting some betas done I'm sure all is fine. Congratulations

I'm unable to go to the dr at all atm because my insurance recently changed. I no longer have copays and have to pay for everything until I reach the crazy deductible.. I haven't figured out what I'm going to do yet.

But last pregnancy, the dr didn't even see patients until 8 weeks, they said. So I've got some time.

No I haven't retested. I thought about it, but I decided it's not necessary. cause I'm definitely pregnant - the line is undeniable. So I'm just going to start searching for a dr!!

I keep looking at the test though to make sure I'm not dreaming!

If it was me, I would take one last test. It should definitely be dark by now, so you would get an answer one way or the other. I had a missed miscarriage a few years ago and getting blindsided at my appointment was traumatizing. I would rather know for sure as soon as possible. I agree you definitely have 2 positive tests there but being 4 days apart and not a whole lot of change would make me want to take one more just to be safe. People definitely have slow progressions and go on to have healthy babies, especially if you caught the very beginning of the pregnancy when the HCG is really low and doubling wouldn't show a big increase. There's just something about seeing that dark line or "Pregnant" on a digi. I'm so impatient though.
