Last month i was confident we had conceived because our timing was perfect. I guess i was wrong..I started having eggwhite CM on 4/3-4/6 ..we BD on 4/2-4/7 (except 4/4) ..i got a positive opk on 4/5 & 4/6 ..on 4/7 i had really bad cramping/sharp pains for about 10 mins. They were so bad i could not move. I am assuming i O'd on 4/7. So our timing was perfect, but we still didnt conceive. Could we have BD too much? Should we BD every day with eggwhite CM or every other day? Also, even though i had two positive opk tests..is there a chance i didnt "O"? I have 3 other kids from a previous relationship. With all 3, we conceived the first try. This is month three with my husband, and i am confused as to what could be going wrong. This month i have been charting my temps, but i am not confident that i know what i am doing.

The only thing I can think of is that you didn't bd enough after getting your bfp on your OPK. Just because you get a positive OPK doesn't mean you ovulate that day. Usually you will ovulate within 12-36hrs. So I would have probably bded also on 4/8 and 4/9 just to cover all my bases.

Honestly even with perfect timing your chances per month are still around the 20-25% range so your timing was probably fine. Sometimes these things just take a bit of time, even when everything is perfect .
