Sitting on the couch and all of the sudden REALLY sharp pain on my right side, I didn't last long but was followed by a few waves of less painfully sharp pain. I am 8 DPO.

It could be implantation! :-) I went onto the implantation calculator and found the day I was more likely to have implantation if conceived....that was 9dpo for me....on that day I had a few stubs on my right low belly side. Fingers crossed for you hun! :-). If you want, google implantation calculator to find out when your implantation day was more likely to be! :-)

If it is implantation, then no test can detect until 2-3 days later. Therefore, the earliest a FRER would detect is tomorrow or Saturday for you! :-)

If you google for implantation calculator then the one to choose from (the one I used) was countdown to pregnancy

It says today based on average, but yesterday was possible as well. My temp dropped slightly this morning. I am pretty nervous because of my short luteal phase, I am expecting AF tomorrow. I hope she stays away.

Fingers crossed she does!!!! Mine is due Saturday. I started having stabbing pains on Tuesday and I keep having them on and off now plus heart burn, according to the calculator, the tuesday when I had the wierd stabs, was supposed to be implantation if conceived on average. Our symptoms are similar! Shall we both test on Saturday???? lol
