According to Peeonastick.com....

31. Can I use an expired test? No. The chemicals used in HPT's deteriorate after awhile and no longer function properly. This can cause a totally defective test (no control line), a false positive, or a false negative. Your best bet is to use a newer one!

Since it's only May 3rd I would say it's ok to use THROUGH the month of May. Maybe contact the company and ask their opinion??

I would probably use anyways and then if I saw anything or if they were neg and I was late I would back up with a different test. Good to help with the POAS urge but yeah, just make sure you back them up . I just got a heap of internet cheapies and, to test if they would get false positives or evaps, I peed on one before O to see what it would look like .

Where are you at in your cycle? If it is before O or before any chance of a pos, pee on one now and see what it comes up with. If there's two lines then chuck them.

Now would be too early to test . You aren't going to see anything before 7dpo though. I personally try not to test before 10dpo because you are more likely to get a false - before then apparently. I have a billion and one cheapies (also known as 49 cheapies ) so if I ever O I will prob test from 7dpo onwards just for funsies.
