This is the first month my husband and I have been TTC. I had my period April 23th-April 29th, and I ovulated on May 6th. We had sex two days before, the day before and the day of ovulation. Yesterday I had headaches off and on, and slight nausea after eating. Today I have sore boobs and I've had the strangest sensation in my stomach. It's like a dull ache or 'pulling' behind my belly button, and hurts pretty bad if I push on my belly button or if I flex my torso. Could I be pregnant or is it something else? I know it's way too soon to be feeling pregnancy symptoms, so I'd just like to get everyone's input.
If you ovulated May 6th then you would have conceived within the next 24 hours. Then the fertilised egg needs to make its way to the uterus and implant. It takes a week for this to happen. You can not possibly start having any pregnancy symptoms before implantation occurs as no pregnancy hormones are produced and your body simply doesnt know it is pregnant yet! :-). Wait a week and then start testing with early pregnancy tests like First Response! When TTC, we are very sensitive and look for weird symptoms, but it doesnt mean you havent had them before, you just didnt notice them before cause you didn't have a reason to. I am soooo much the same, the tiniest thing and I think I am pregnant! I wish you good luck and hoping that next week you will be showing us some lovely positive pee sticks! :-)
You might be feeling ovulation pain, I get that for a few days after O. You have to think of it like your fallopian tubes are wriggling that egg towards your uterus so some of the pulling sensations this early may just be that. I know my lower abdomen is pretty sore especially when I flex for a few days after O.
Also when your body is feeling these twinges and pains you tend to hold
yourself different, causing strain on other muscles.. Kinda like if you twist
your ankle, the way you limp causes other areas to tighten up and hurt..
