Hubby & I decided that we were ready for me to come off my low dose birth control pills. My last pill was April 14th. I had a normal period after that. We have been trying multiple times a week. Out of curiosity, I bought an OPK kit and received a peak reading on May 14. Just for kicks, I checked again on May 21 and received a high fertility reading. I have had an elevated temp for the past two weeks, but it has dipped to normal today. My CM (tmi I know), is clear and wet. It seems higher than usual but I can't tell if it's closed. My period (based on my count from when I was on birth control) is 12 days late but hpts showing negative. I do not understand why I showed high fertility 7 days after I peaked and my LH surge was over. What does all of this mean and what do I do?
Maybe go to your doctor and get a blood test just in case? You could have ovulated later than you think too and still be pregnant. Or your body could just be adjusting and regulating. It took my body almost a year to regulate after going off BC :/ But for most women it just takes a few cycles.
Since the HPT's are negative, I would guess that your body is just adjusting to being off the pill. You can get multiple positive OPK's and that just means your body is/was getting geared up to ovulate. If you just got the positive OPK a few days ago, you should test 2 weeks after that date. Good luck!
