Been trying to conceive baby #2 for a few months (Already have a 18 month old) And every month I have ovulation pains (very light cramping/aching on either side) well this month I am cramping and more achier then usual.. Is there any chance that could be a positive thing? Like maybe the egg and sperm met? I think that is probably impossible to feel but I am just so anxious! LOL! Thank you ahead of time for the help and advice

I have no idea but good luck to you! I've honestly never heard of this, besides just having Ov. pains.

I have no idea as well, except I know this cycle i had clear o pains a full week before I actually ovulated. Maybe what I felt was the follicle growing? Idk but they were definitely ovary twinges! Plus yesterday at 3dpo I was soooo crampy. No idea about that either. I had a strong ovulation nice robust opks and robust ferning, followed by a robust temp shift so the o pains were a good sign, now I'm hoping the crampiness was a good sign as well

Just came across this thread by accident, but is it possible you have ovarian cysts? I get them almost every month, and when they hurt intensely, that usually means my cyst has burst. If it's not excruciating pain, it may just mean it's a bigger cyst than usual. (This might not be the case with you though!)

This should not effect your ability to get pregnant at all though. I had no issues getting pregnant (we weren't even really trying) when I conceived my daughter

Good luck! I hope you get your BFP!

Mod -Urchin your post reminds me of last year i was 21, didn't know anything about ttc at the time. one of the times I ovulated , I felt a sudden jab of excruciating pain. I was limping after. My period came exactly fourteen days after and Looking back, I'm convinced I had a cyst that ruptured that day. I never felt a pain like that before it was sharp and ended almost as quickly as it began... it had to be a cyst. I'll never know I guess! At thetime Iwasn't ttc or charting so I thought maybe I had pulled a muscle or bruised a rib lol

Sounds just like a cyst. I suspected I was getting them, and went to the doctor about it. He did an internal exam, and accidentally ruptured the cyst in the process..SO EXCRUCIATING! Usually when one ruptures, I am pretty sore in my abdomen for a day or two afterwards. Most of the time they don't rupture though, and I just feel soreness enough to know I have one!
