It's been a VERY VERY long time since I have been in JM's I have two DD's, and both I was in the 2005 and 2007 group of ladies here
We have had a LOOONNGG trip in a few years, we moved from USA back to my home country of Australia, both my girls and my DH are adjusting to there new life in Australia which is fantastic and since settling my DH and I have decided to go for #3 baby
Now what I am confused about as im not sure if its normal because I never had to do this before both my girls, but I had an appointment with my Dr about going over the plans of having a baby, and also being over 30 if there is anything I need to know and all that jazz, and she had be do a Glucose and blood tests done to check for Vitamin deficiency the Vitamin what I could understand, but the Glucose test I figured that was done during the pregnancy.
Now im concerned because I got a call from my Dr's office letting me know that they got the results back and they need for me to come in next week
Any ideas?? why they would have me do the glucose test??
I think they want to have a pre-pregnancy glucose test to have on file to compare to a pregnancy one. As you get older you are more likely to be diabetic, and if you are you need to have it under control before you get pregnant.
