Sooo yesterday when i drop bubs off at gramma's she shows me this thing on her back. i have something similar in my arm pit. . .Its also similar to what was in my vag area (they told me was folliculitis and hot compress till the rupture and go away) which they did. Anyway. . . her back thing is bigger than mine, so she goes to the doctor. He tells her he THINKS its a staph infection. Sends her to have it cut out, since its not open. She tells him about me having something similar and he says send her here. . . SOOOO i go there show him my pit mine was draining though, so he took a culture and said he will have the results PROBABLY by friday. He thinks I have a staph infection also. . . or MRSA even, BUT he is not sure, he says it could just be an infection that can be treated quickly, the reason he cant do anything is bc I am pregnant SO if it is something scary I have to just keep draining the crap and use some wash so it doesnt spread until the baby is out then I can be treated. . .I am crying hysterical from about 9am yesterday til today because I am terrified I am going to die. My friend said that i won't, the doctor said i wont but come on. . .How I can just relax. I am just scared and depressed and i have no idea what to do anymore. . .
PLEASEEEE don't post anything scary about any of these things because I am already terrified lol. thank you!

My thoughts are with you, but please don't stress it yet.. Some times drs
jump the Gun and you won't know anything till the results
are back.. He should not have said any Thing one way or
the other till the results were back.. I hate when they do
Things like this...

Just remember there are a lot of things out there
That look like MRSA, and they are not as bad..
Infected lymph node, boil, celulositus. Hell a ingrown hair
Can and will look bad, but it isn't.. I will be praying
That it is something simple.. hugs to you..

Maybe something to ease your worries, when I am pg
My allergies get really bad causing lymph nodes to swell
Last time one in my pit got infected, and they had to lance
It, so it would drain. They cleaned the area told me to wash
With anti bact soap and come in if it swells more,
Gets hot, red, or drains yellow or green.. I never had to go
Back..

Yea. . . that does. I mean I have no idea yet. So at this point it could be just that. BUT the fact that I had it in my vag and now my left pit. . .I dunno. I just neeeeed to relax and realize no matter what it ends up being it is treatable.

My thoughts are with you. I can't imagine dealing with the stress of something so unknown while pregnant.
I hope its something simple and will be easily treated and you can go on your way with a happy and healthy pregnancy.

Try not to stress yourself out over it..I know easier said than done. I agree with Tiggblue some Dr's like to jump the gun.Just know that whatever it is I am sure is treatable. I will be thinking of you..please kup when you get the results on Friday. And again try not to worry.

If it makes you feel better most people carry staph in/on their body.
Honestly if it hasn't been an issue for you as far as getting out of control, I think you are fine! It sounds like a basic infection that can be treated!
Try not to stress about it! Keep it clean and relax mama!
When pg last time I got crazy skin issues... had a rash on my armpit for MONTHS that would not go away. Drove me crazy. Our bodies are crazy pg!
It will be ok!!

Thank you ladies!!! I talked to a nurse friend of mine who had MRSA while pregnant and she had it worse than me. . . she told me what they did and how it was treated. She told me its a pain but if it IS that its not as bad as it sounds.
