I'm going to get my progesterone draw tomorrow morning to see if I've Oed. I was certain I had... This was my OPK on CD17

Looks positive to me, right? And after that my CM dried up and my OPKs got lighter.

Well tonight (CD22) I noticed a lot of creamy CM! TMI it also had a tiny bit of stretchiness in it. I did an OPK and it's almost positive again!

I'm confused

CD22 looks like a dark negative to me. I usually stop testing after I get my temp rise so I never know what lh does during the 2ww. I would imagine it fluctuates just as much as it can in the follicular phase... I wouldn't worry about it, it looks very much like you ovulated and you will know for sure at your progesterone draw! CD17 is a for sure positive.

EDIT: Also I get a lot of creamy cm during the whole tww, up until a few days before af when it usually dries up. So do a lot of ladies. So the cm also is normal

I kept testing just in case I had "geared up" to O and didn't. I'm worried that this dark negative will turn into a positive tomorrow and then I'll be super confused! But hopefully my progesterone draw will tell me something. I'm going a little early though. I won't be 7DPO... More like 5DPO, so I hope it still shows. They wanted me to come in on Wednesday for a CD21 draw but I asked if I could extend it a little further. I wonder if they'll let me come back later next week if this draw turns out negative for O.

I'm worried I just want my body to work!

In my longer cycles I would gear up to O once or twice before actually o'ing. Those opks would always be questionably positive. Like, the two lines would be exactly the same color. Or it'd be darker, but unusually skinny. So all technically positives, but I knew they weren't true positives for me. Then my true positive would be the only ones where the test line is visibly darker. So I totally understand you wanting to make sure you weren't gearing up to O! You'll know for sure on Monday. Then you'll also have a baseline for what is typical for you in terms of line thickness, darkness, and progression. OPK test kits will have a certain sensitivity and some ppl have their surge at a higher or lower level, which is why people's positives may look slightly different. Some tests might even have more dye in them which really can be a headache lol. It takes a couple cycles probably with the same brand to really know for sure what to look for with your body. I say all that in hopes that it will deter you from spending hours comparing your OPK to a bunch of OPKs from the internet and getting all doubtful and stressed lol.

But my opinion is that your CD17 reaalllllly looks like your true positive! It's very solid. Good luck and try not to worry too much!

Thank you for taking the time to answer!!
I love my CD17 OPK. I feel like it's unquestionable! But the only thing that scares me is that the digi for that day said no surge was detected. I'm hoping maybe the digis just don't work on me... Maybe my levels aren't high enough for a digi. I get a lot of close positives on wondfos but CD17 was the only one I could for sure call positive
