This is my first time using OPK and I was hoping someone might be able to answer a question for me. I have yet to get a positive, I know that the two lines (using Answer brand) have to be equally dark or the test line darker. But I have yet to get even a faint line. Shouldn't I be seeing something by now? Even if it's only a faint line? I'm on cycle day 14.
to what tigg asked Honestly OPKs usually do not "progress" up very well. You could have a positive and then it be negative one hour later...If you are not testing more than once a day chances are you could have missed your surge. I like to go by cervical mucus and OPKs together if I am not temping. GOOD LUCK!
Have you tried dipping an opk in water and comparing that to your opks? I did that way back when I first started using opks bc I thought I had no second line but comparing it to a water test showed me that there was actually something there
You "should" O.. Sometimes tho your body gears to O and you get your +
OPK, but then it fails to O. and you possibly get another + OPK later..
Do you BBT? That is the one definite way to know if you O'd... I hope you catch
I just took another one and looked at it closer with my husband. I don't think it's positive. It close though. I think I just got excited before because there had never been a second line before! I have plenty of strips and I'm going to start testing a few times a day, and were going to baby dance tonight, just in case!
