My Husband and I have been TTC for 5 months now. I'm supposed to O today (didn't use OPK this month but my cycles are like clockwork). I have EWCM, and I'm just starting to learn to check my cervix. Since yesterday it's been high, soft, and wet, but for the life of me I can't find an opening.. does that mean I can't get pregnant?? I've check so many times in the past few days trying to find it and I can't. Is something wrong with my cervix? Thanks for any help.

I think it is very different for everyone but i always have a hard time getting up there when its high. I have never felt what i would call an opening, more like a dimple in the middle. It sound weird but i think that i what you are looking for.

I could be wrong but i don't think it opens up to the point that most people would think, unless you have given birth before.

Hope that helps.

Just lurking from ttc#1...

Do you get AF? (your period) if so, you will have an opening in your cervix so try not to worrry. It might be the position you have been in whilst trying to find it - I find mine best whilst sat - on the toilet type sitting position works for me - clean finger and up / back. Try and relax

^^^^^^ yes, it feels more like a dimple or a crease, think
"Butt crack" most of the time when its open
The cervix feels so soft it almost feels like a fat
Lip..
Taniam likes this.
