Just wanted to introduce myself since this is going to be my new home for a (hopefully little) while. I'm Nicole and I am TTC #2. I have a son named Major who is 3.5 and I have been active on JM since I was TTC him back in 2009. DH and I are going to be TTC for the first time this cycle. I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism, so my cycles are a little screwy while we are figuring out what kind of dosage of meds I need. My last cycle was 47 days! So, in an effort to help myself figure out when I "O", I bought OPK's. I used them when I was TTC my son and they worked like a charm and I got pregnant my very first cycle trying. I am keeping my fingers crossed I have that kind of luck this time!
Anyway, just wanted to give you a little background so you knew who the new girl chiming in was. Hopefully we all get a BFP soon!
Hello and welcome! I have irregular and long cycles too. My last one was 50 days! They've done bloodwork on me and it's all come back normal. This is our 2nd cycle TTC for baby #2. I alternate between long and short cycles (if you can say 35 days is short LOL) Welcome again!
**Thank you, bokkechick, for my beautiful signature!**
have you thought about charting your bbt?
with irregular and long cycles opk's can be difficult
to get right and can be very expensive if you don't
get the internet cheepies..Also, with long or irregular
cycles I suggest SMEP.. You can download and read it free
