hi all

I am new to the boards so I apologize if my question is silly but Im at a loss. Im ttc so I am using ovulation tests. This morning with fmu I got a very strong positive so the hubby and I did our thing. This evening I took another test and it was not positive. Is that possible or could it be it wasnt fmu? We want to try again tonight but Im not sure it will make a difference if my test was negative.

Thank you for your advice and input. I appreciate it.

I'm fairly new to using OPK's but I have heard and read that some women have quick, strong LH surges and then it's negative later on in the day. I'm not an expert though; hopefully another with more experience can help clarify if I am correct.

I hope that if it was positive, you and your DH caught that eggy!

I am one that gets a quick LH surge. I will get a positive and a few hours later, it's gone. With that said, though, your first or second morning urine is the most concentrated, so you will get a more accurate result.

You def caught your surge You should def O within 12-48 hours so get busy girl. Normally many women get the tail end of their surge so only one positive OPK is normal.
