So I ordered a thermometer to temp with this month (even though i already had one - it was for the kids and i wanted my own), but it was over a week late arriving so I started out temping with the kid's thermometer (which reads to the tenth anyway..) and then switched when i got my thermometer in the mail. and look at my chart. such a big drop! how will i ever get a coverline now? Am i being silly?
no i didnt... so stupid of me! not using OPKs. I generally know when i ovulate because i get pains... but i wanted to temp/chart to confirm it because last month i thought i did but then didnt get my sore bbs after so i was confused.
I strongly suggest OPK's just so you see when you get the surge then confirm O with temping. When do you normally O. I think if you discard the other temps and use the kids thermometer then FF should give you CH.

i normally O on CD 14. im so textbook usually . i will do what you suggested with the discarding those temps and using the kids thermometer. its better anyway cuz its faster and backlit. prob not as accurate though!
I was going to suggest a different route and say ditch the kids thermometer, stick with the proper BBT and discard the kids one's readings but it looks like you started back with the kids thermometer so never mind. You would have still been ok because you would have the readings the few days before O so you would see a clear thermal shift. I don't think you will now that you started high, switched to the lower and then switched back again.
Yeah I think you're right Bella. Siigghhh.... And I went camping this weekend and didn't sleep well at alllllll so everything's messed up. I had really really strong O pains most of the day Friday so I'm pretty sure I O'd. Plenty of BD before during and after so I guess I'll just cross my fingers! Dang it!!
