It's just past 3:30pm and when I went to the bathroom that awful b*tch AF was there. Not enough for a tampon yet, but just added a liner to my panties. Do I count CD1 from today, or tomorrow morning when she will be in full force?

CD1 is classed as actual flow. It can be light but really anything more than spotting would be classed as flow. See how it progresses and judge it if you think it is enough to consider it as AF or not

That's what I was thinking too Danielle. That's how I have always marked my calendar, but wanted to makes sure I'm doing it correctly since we are TTC.

With the huge temp drop this morning, it can't be anything but AF. I'm just confused as to when I mark it as CD1. I guess a day wont really matter.

If it is more than a spot or two in my underwear, or more than just showing up when I wipe, I consider it AF. For example on Friday the 29th I had a few little brown streaks in my underwear (that sounds disgusting, lol) and some pinkish brown when I wiped. I didn't count that. The next morning it was AF in full force. I counted the full force day as CD1. (Sorry about AF!)

I spotted for a whole day this cycle, then af flow started following day, but I marked the spotting as CD1 since it was red, plus I'd rather be a day early when expecting O than a day late!
