I had a lot of red spotting today after dtd... Enough that I had to put a tampon in. I am so bummed, I've been crying off and on all morning. Why is it happening so early in my cycle??? Dh is really irritated with me too and we had an argument about it. I worry that he thinks I've gone crazy and he's going to just not want to keep trying. I can't stop crying !

I'm so sorry this happen. :-( I know the stress of TTC and how it can hurt a marriage. It helped me to remember that I want our baby made in love. Some times BD feels like a job. Take this opportunity to communicate, remember you are in this together, and start this cycle eating healthy and drinking plenty of water. Hugs

I am so sorry your going through this. It "could" be ib you know. Has the bleeding/spotting stopped? It can be from dtd too. I hope it's not af related.

Well it was only red right after dtd and I left the tampon in a long time and when I took it out it just had brown spotting on it. Not a ton. No cramps, boobs still sore, temp still up. Idk *** is going on with me. My LP is usually about 15 days. Dh and I talked it out, he is just more laid back than me and even though he's sad we aren't pregnant yet, he's just like, well it'll happen, we just need to keep trying! Ahh why is this so hard!

Do you girls think I should email my dr about the abnormal spotting or would you wait?

wait, it happened today at 10dpo? ...im with steph here, i think it might be ib. it might not be a bad idea to mention it to your doc if itll make you feel better, but if it were me, id hang in there a few days and then test!!

Well yeah, I had some red today after dtd but before that I've been having brown spotting since 6dpo. I don't think IB can really last that long, can it?

and still no more bleeding. im soooooo frustrated!! i emailed my doctors to see what they say. first i emailed my obgyn for obvious reasons and then i emailed my family doc because i just recently had my physical and she was thinking maybe something was up with my thyroid, did one thyroid test (tsh) and not the others (t3, t4). my tests were normal so i just emailed her back to ask about the other tests and to say i wanted to get to the bottom of it because the abnormal spotting has me worried. so we will see if i get anywhere with either of them.

I hope you get some answers!

I'm in the same boat, kind of. I started spotting last night at 12DPO. Nothing since then. Confusing! I think mine is too late to be IB though.

You're not out until the witch shows though!

So sorry hun. Keep your head up. I'm sure he's still in it just not sure how to be there for you. At least that's how mine was when we were TTC last year. ((hugs))

thanks everyone, its nice to have people i can vent to who understand/have been through it. does anyone think i could have maybe ovulated on CD12 instead of cd 17? that would make the timing of the spotting and temp drop make a whole lot more sense, as that would make my LP about 15 days, as per my usual. and my cycle 28 days on the whole, which is also my usual.

And it might be possible. And that would make more sense. But I am not too great with reading charts.
